April 29, 2011 Table Rock Dam and Lake Taneycomo, a misty cloud rises from the torrent of water flowing through the floodgates.

Tours inside Table Rock Dam resumed at noon on Thursday April 28th. Its an historic time here at Table Rock Dam! This is a great opportunity to take a tour inside the dam when a record amount of water is flowing through the floodgates. Come on out and see what 68,000 cubic feet per second looks like- up close and personal!
Earlier in the week, water levels reached the Dewey Short Visitors Center and lapped at the steps of the back patio. Levels have receded but remain very high. Current lake level is 933.86. These are record breaking levels, and a sight not to be missed.
