Moonshine Beach- the only sand swim beach on Table Rock Lake- is now open!

Moonshine is a favorite hangout of locals and visitors- with good reason. The sand beach is a great place for lounging and playing in the water and the marked swim area keeps everyone safe from boat traffic. There are two Life Jacket Loaner Stations at the beach, with several PFDs available for use free of charge. The large pavilion at Moonshine has tables and grills for family outings, birthdays, and special occasions. Several covered picnic tables are available also. Moonshine has a fun playground, sand volleyball, swimming area, boat launch, restrooms, and showers. There’s something for everyone!
Be sure to check out “Fat Daddy’s”, a fabulous food vendor selling sandwiches, snacks, ice cream and drinks at the beach. Rainbow colored beach umbrellas and inflatable toys are available to rent for your perfect day at Moonshine. Kayaks will soon be added to the list of fun rentals!
Moonshine Beach is open daily 9 am to 9 pm. Admission to the beach is $4.00 per vehicle, with an additional charge of $1.00 per person over eight people in the vehicle. The US Army Corps of Engineers Annual Pass will be honored for admission as well. Reserving the pavilion for your event is easy! Visit the National Recreation Reservation Service by calling 1-877-444-6777 or online at www.reserveUSA.com. The charge to reserve for the day is $75.00.
Ozarks Rivers Heritage Foundation is proud to partner with the US Army Corps of Engineers to operate Moonshine Beach. By entering into this cooperative agreement, we are working to fulfill our mission to provide financial support to Corps recreational facilities. The foundation also operates Indian Point Campground in partnership with the Corps. Revenues collected by the foundation remain at Table Rock to enhance facilities owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Thank you for your support!
