Do you love the Lake?
Posted on June 14th, 2011Would you like to spend a day or two per week enjoying great views of the lake and providing a service to area visitors? Consider volunteering at Dewey Short Visitors Center!
Ozarks Rivers Heritage Foundation is looking for volunteers to guide tours of Table Rock Dam! More and more guests are arriving as the summer gets in full swing and the Foundation would gladly accept your help. This is a fun and exciting position guiding visitors through a working power plant and dam. Tours are given four times daily, seven days a week. Volunteer as much as you’d like- a few hours, one day per week or as many days as you’re available!
Two guides accompany each tour. Training is provided by qualified staff. Be a part of helping visitors experience first hand the workings of Table Rock Dam and Powerhouse. Call ORHF at 417-334-6394 or stop by Dewey Short Visitors Center, 4600 St Hwy 165, Branson, MO to apply. Applicants are subject to a security background check and must be a US citizen, 18 years of age or older.
